Dear Colleagues,

I have the special pleasure to invite you to the sixth edition of the "SYNTHESIS" National Internal Medicine Conference, which will take place in Iași, between March 5-7, 2025. The scientific works will take place in physical format at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Grigore T. Popa" Iași, but will also benefit from online transmission.

This medical event, originally dedicated to internal medicine residents, has grown year by year, managing to address doctors of various specialties and at various stages of experience in the profession. We have kept the online transmission of the papers in response to the large number of registered colleagues, from all regions of the country, in the previous editions.

SYNTHESIS is a traditional event for the Iași and national medical environment, inviting international personalities recognized for their scientific contributions year after year. We are thus trying to build a platform for the exchange of medical ideas and experiences, anchored in the information flow of European and international news.

For the first time, we included a module of commented clinical cases and a section presenting some original Romanian medical research topics. This initiative comes to complete the extensive profile of the manifestation, from guidelines and recommendations, to practical application in the real patient.

Also for the first time, SYNTHESIS has the honor of including a distinct course of the Working Group of the Romanian Society of Cardiology - Emergency Cardiology, led by Dr. Alexander Nechita.

Therefore, I invite you to a new edition of SYNTHESIS in the traditional month of March, with the hope that the proposed format and program will meet your expectations.
